Manchester homes for sale

How Doorstep answers

Doorstep only tells you what a listing says. When nothing fits everything you asked for, it says so, shows the closest homes and names what it set aside to find them.

Are these homes really for sale?

No. Doorstep is a working demo by Ross Lucarelli. The listings are invented; the areas, schools and tram stops are real.

Which homes count as near the tram?

Within half a mile in a straight line. Doorstep says how it read your words, so you can change them.

Does it rate the schools near each home?

No. Each home lists its nearest schools and their distances. Ofsted publishes the reports.

Ten areas, from Ancoats to Ramsbottom

City-centre apartments, south Manchester semis and stone houses on the edge of the moors. Each area opens its homes.
